Starts Monday 24th August - spots limited!

Are you ready to reclaim your energy, time and joy - without 'all or nothing' or 'forever' thinking?

You've tried cutting back. You've done Dry July. You've made deals with yourself on a Sunday night.

But you’re back here again, using alcohol to manage the noise, the overwhelm, the feelings that won't quit and you’re probably feeling terrible about it. I completely get it.

Here's the bit most alcohol programs miss: they're not built for your brain.

If you have ADHD, your relationship with alcohol isn't a ‘bad habit’ or a ‘character flaw’. It’s driven by your neurobiology.

It's a dopamine problem. An emotional regulation problem. A "I-need-something-to-take-the-edge-off-this-utterly-relentless-brain" problem.

That's exactly what I built this program for.

Together, we'll discover how ADHD is driving alcohol use, ways to manage symptoms alongside alcohol strategies, increase self-acceptance - and embark on a life with more ease.

What is Breaking the Loop?

10 Week Online Group Format | Private Community | Intentionally small for optimal results

Breaking the Loop is a 10-week online group coaching program designed specifically for people with ADHD who are in the grey area with alcohol.

Not rock bottom. Not "fine." Somewhere in between - and ready to do something about it.

Each week combines live group sessions, self-paced content, daily support and a community of people who understand the intersection of neurodivergence and alcohol — because they're living it too.

A space without the judgement. Without the shoulds. Without the masking. Where you're free to show up as you are, without needing to pretend you have it all together.

It's transformational.

Why it's different

Neuro-affirming motivation strategies, behavioural techniques and accountability - grounded in neuroscience

Judgement-free, evidence-informed and created with lived experience by a mental health professional who's been there, not just studied it academically

A non-boring interactive mix of coaching, psychoeducation and skill-building developed to create a sustainable, manageable path that works with your ADHD brain

Not your standard group program - expect ADHD sparkle, plenty of laughs, support and genuine camaraderie

Are you ready to jump off the rollercoaster?

Just imagine having what previous participants report:

  • Less mental chatter and constant negotiations with yourself about alcohol
  • Building self trust and feeling proud of yourself because you followed through on changes - sustainably this time
  • Being able to quieten down your overactive brain in ways that don't involve alcohol
  • Greater understanding and acceptance of yourself - reducing masking, reducing RSD, reducing shame - as you make changes
  • No more hangovers that dial your ADHD symptoms through the roof
  • Being part of a small group of people who get you, support you and won't make you feel ashamed about the things you're dealing with, behind the scenes

This isn't just about drinking less. It's about understanding why you drink, what to do differently and to feel more equipped to sustain those changes because you’re working with your ADHD, too, rather than winging it or white knuckling.

I'm ready to break the loop!

“This program has given me a lot of opportunities to sit back and study myself in a much more positive way than I’ve ever done before in my life. It’s given me tools, community, and insight. it’s helped me make sense of so many things. I feel strengthened by the care and concern and beautiful support for each other — it’s almost like a virtual hug.”

"As a coach, Faye is the total package. I don't think there is anyone who can match her unique combination of skills, knowledge and experience in counselling and coaching, and grey area drinking. Faye leads by example, with warmth, compassion, acceptance, as well as practical, evidence-based tools which empower clients to take those all-important baby steps towards meaningful, sustainable change."

Breaking the Loop is for you if:

  • You have ADHD (diagnosed or strongly suspected), AuDHD or identify as a highly sensitive person (HSP) and alcohol is taking up too much mental real estate
  • You're not necessarily drinking every day, but you're using alcohol to manage stress, boredom, emotions or social situations - and ADHD symptoms
  • You've tried cutting back before and it hasn't stuck - and you suspect your ADHD is part of why
  • You want strategies that work with your brain, because forcing and fighting yourself isn’t working
  • You're open to some group work and community — even if it feels a bit scary (there’s no pressure to share)

It's not for you if you’re physically dependent on alcohol and require medical supervision to stop.

I'm ready to break the loop!

IL, Psychologist, UK

“I’ve taken the pressure off myself massively. I’ve focused on other areas of ADHD management we covered such as reducing stress and load which has helped with my overall day to day wellbeing and reduced need/want/thoughts of alcohol. About your coach

Hi, I'm Faye

Registered Counsellor | Certified Grey Area Drinking Coach | ADHD Coach | BSocSc (Psych) | PGDip (Couns)

I help high-performing ADHDers who are feeling stuck in patterns with alcohol, food, relationships, or work stress — especially the kind that leads to burnout and overwhelm. Together, we work toward balance, confidence, and a life that actually feels good to live.

I'm a therapist, ADHD coach and certified grey area drinking coach. I’ve been alcohol-free since 2017, was late-diagnosed with combined type ADHD in 2022, and am mum to neurodivergent young adults.

Before this work, I spent years in executive leadership, so I understand the pressure to keep it all together while quietly unravelling inside.

I believe in a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed approach. I hold degrees in psychology and counselling and am a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA).

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Faye xx

“It’s been quite incredible — such a brilliant idea to really target the ADHD interaction, because it makes it a remarkably different journey. Every week I thought, ‘There’s no way I can do it,’ and yet here I am. You helped me through the RSD and the fear.”

LG, Consultant, UK

"The connection within the group was wonderful. Everyone was so supportive, open and non-judgemental, and it felt like a really safe space to share. I genuinely felt grateful to be part of such a fabulous group of humans, especially as we were all navigating similar things in our own ways."

Frequently asked questions

What if I’m not ready to quit drinking completely?

That’s okay — this isn’t an abstinence-only space. You don’t need to be sober or aiming for sobriety forever to benefit.

While most members will be aiming to reduce significantly or stop for the 10 weeks. What matters most is that you’re curious, open and ready to look at your patterns with honesty and self-compassion.

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to join?

Nope. Many of our members are self-identified and haven’t pursued formal diagnosis. If you relate to ADHD traits and find alcohol is part of your coping, this is for you.

Other neurodivergent folk are welcome too! I regularly work with AuDHDers and ASDers.

How does the live group coaching call work?

The live group call provides a supportive environment where we will combine learning, coaching, bring your questions and connect with others on a similar journey. We’ll meet weekly via Zoom for 90 minutes.

You’ll also be invited to our group video app which provides continued support and connection between sessions.

What if I can't make the live group call?

Life happens! The weekly live group coaching sessions will be recorded, and replays will be available if you're unable to attend.

You'll also receive the weekly tools, videos and resources, and have the opportunity to catch up and participate in discussions via the private group community.

What kind of support is there between calls?

You’ll have access to a private group video app which will be active daily where you can ask questions, receive coaching, and get support from both me and other group members throughout the 10 weeks!

When does this start?

Doors open on Monday 24 August, with the first live group coaching sessions on Tuesday 25 August (Group 1) and Wednesday 26 August (Group 2). The programme runs for 10 weeks.

Live group coaching takes place weekly in your chosen group:

Group 1: Tuesdays at 7:00 PM (Brisbane/Sydney)
Group 2: Wednesdays at 9:00 AM (Brisbane/Sydney)

Once you enrol in a group, you'll remain with the same group throughout the programme.

Is this therapy?

Breaking the Loop is a coaching and education program, not therapy. That said, it's facilitated by a registered counsellor and approaches the topic in a trauma-informed and strengths-based way.

While there will naturally be sharing of stories and experiences, it's also critical that the psychological safety of the group is protected. If you're in acute crisis - either with alcohol or mental health - please reach out to a mental health professional directly.

Is there a cancellation/refund policy?

If you feel like the group simply isn’t the right space for you, let me know within 48 hours of the program starting and I will organise a refund, minus processing and/or conversion fees.

After that, there are no refunds for change of mind.

How much time will this take me each week?

As much or as little as suits you! This programme has been designed so you can engage in a way that fits your busy ADHD life, changing priorities and fluctuating energy levels.

As the baseline, I strongly recommend attending the 90 min live group coaching session each week (or watch the replay).

From there, add in what's doable for you from the weekly tools, short videos, group discussions and check-ins to get the most out of the program (1-2 hours a week).

I have some challenges with processing information (e.g. dyslexia), will this mean I fall behind?

The program has been designed with this in mind with the bulk of the learning materials and group participation will be done by short psychoeducation videos, zoom or on our group coaching video app.

There will be worksheets and some readings, but there’s no requirement to engage with them.

If you do find this is a challenge for you, I'd encourage you to reach out to me directly and there might be some other ways we can approach them.

I'm concerned about confidentiality.

It's of critical importance that people feel safe in the group and this of course includes confidentiality. At the outset all group members agree to confidentiality and it's clearly stipulated. Any breaches will forfeit a place in the group.

The whole BTL program is delivered on secure platforms with only other group members and myself able to access content including replays etc. Break out rooms are not recorded. Your email or full name is not shared with the group (please note we have no control over your personal settings e.g. Zoom display name).

Should any concerns around confidentiality arise during the program they will be responded to immediately.

Disclaimer: This program is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment. If you are physically dependent on alcohol, please seek professional medical support before making changes to your drinking.

Hi, I’m Faye.

Registered Counsellor | Certified Grey Area Drinking Coach | ADHD Coach | BSocSc (Psych) | PGDip (Couns)

I'm a registered counsellor, ADHD coach, and grey area drinking coach based in Brisbane. I have eight years of sobriety and a late ADHD diagnosis — both of which completely reframed how I understood my own relationship with alcohol.

I created Breaking the Loop because the programs that existed when I needed help weren't built for brains like mine. Too rigid. Too shame-based. Too focused on the drinking and not enough on the why.

Before this work, I spent years in executive leadership and consulting, so I understand the pressure to keep it all together while quietly unravelling inside.

Member of Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA). And Mum to young neurospicy adults.

"This isn't just about drinking less. It's about understanding why you drink, what to do differently and to feel more equipped to sustain those changes because you’re working with your ADHD brain.”

What previous participants said

“Game. Changer. Although it has helped being a lot more mentally 'ready' for the decision to overcome my dependence, having Faye’s support and accountability and personal experience/understanding has made my journey all that more successful this time around.”

— CF, Allied Health, VIC, Aus

“Non-judgemental with lots of positive energy. Faye is caring, firm and funny. A great combination to engage with when you are trying to stay motivated. I was very impressed by the breadth of her knowledge of ADHD & alcohol. The whole experience was a delight”.
