My Values — Faye Lawrence
Personal Values — Faye Lawrence

What I know
to be true

01
Human Centred
People are at the centre of everything — how I think, work, love, and make decisions. Not people in the abstract, but the specific human in front of me. Family, friends, clients, community. It's reciprocal, it's particular, and it's always about their highest good.
02
Honesty
Not just being true to myself but being straight with others, even when it's uncomfortable. Performance and pretense are intolerable. The gap between what someone says and what they do is one of the things that costs me most. Truth-telling is a relational act, not just a personal one.
03
Self-Actualisation
An orientation toward becoming — in myself and in the people I work with. Knowing myself deeply, growing continuously, staying curious. Stagnation is one of the things that makes me most miserable. The work of understanding who I am is lifelong and non-negotiable.
04
Sovereignty
Nobody gets to be the authority over who I am and how I show up. Not a hierarchy, not a body corporate, not a system that requires compliance. I can't play pretend and I won't. Self-governance isn't stubbornness — it's a non-negotiable condition for being fully myself.
05
Compassion
I feel everything deeply and care about people in a way that is sometimes costly. This isn't a byproduct of the work — it's the source of it. The high sensitivity, the absorbing of others' pain, the genuine investment in people's wellbeing. It's intrinsic, not performed.
✦ The Signal — Sass
"Embracing life with boldness, wit, adventure and playful defiance. Speaking truth with flair, challenging norms with charm, and never dimming my light to make others comfortable. A bold mix of humour, individuality, and unapologetic self-expression."
